Position Summary

Our Atlanta Field Service Rep will be an integral member of the Sales team to support the growth of both the Superfeet business and Superfeet team in the Southeast and lower Mid-Atlantic region.  The successful candidate must have a key understanding of the Superfeet brand and its retail distribution, good knowledge of the footwear and insole business and ability to develop and implement plans to maximize those opportunities. This role is responsible for supporting the proactive management of the buy-sell cycle (prospect, plan, sell and service) with retail accounts in the assigned territory with an emphasis on increasing Sales and Service. This will include sales and business development in the following market segments: sports dealers including run specialty, outdoor, hockey, ski, etc., non-sport dealers including department stores, comfort shoe, industrial accounts and other related specialties, and other accounts as assigned. Regional and occasional national travel is required.

Your Responsibilities

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Superfeet product line, philosophy, technology, and marketing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, introducing new products and updating marketing materials.  Initial account list for sales training development.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with key staff at retailers
  • Provide full serviced account visits – detailing merchandise, providing and/or ordering relevant tools, spot and scheduled clinics. Identify and suggest any possible fill-in orders or additional styles with retailer
  • Work effectively with territory reps to develop education programs with key customers, including products, evolving trends and new staff
  • Balance merchandising needs of the account with Superfeet’s product placement objectives
  • Familiarize yourself with account locations and the most efficient/effective travel schedule, establishing a regular schedule of visits
  • Provide account feedback to account representatives weekly, or on personal accounts utilize CRM
  • Fully support the implementation, training and events around Fit-Station integration
  • Leverage market and account knowledge to maximize Superfeet product placement and sales
  • Ensure inventory levels are aligned to sell through, margin and turn objectives
  • Identify product opportunities and work in collaboration with account representative to execute
  • Stay current on product features and changes, including trends
  • Recommend product to purchase that position inventory appropriately and proactively manage product flow
  • Accountable for execution, management, and timely coordination of account orders, including entry, tracking, orders confirmation, cancellations and delivery information in collaboration with Regional Sales manager
  • Meet all order deadlines in a timely and consistent manner using assigned tools
  • Ensure proper ROI is achieved from Superfeet’s investments in advertising and in store with customer, communicating opportunities to the account representative
  • Coordinate meetings between customer contacts and account representative team to establish strategies and execution for brand presentations
  • Attend consumer and account events, including corporate events and in store, as well as supporting seasonal marketing initiatives 
  • Attend expo events, coordinating the logistics and set-up, work with consumers
  • Support territory reps with regional tradeshows including setup, merchandising and marketing initiatives

 Your experience and education

  • Qualified candidates will have 1-4 years’ experience in footwear sales or related field
  • Experience in the sports industry and/or retail markets desirable
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Strong preference will be given to candidates residing in Atlanta
