Store Manager is a full-time position. Candidate needs to have a minimum of 2 years shop experience. The person we are looking for is organized, hands-on, personable, knowledgeable, a self-starter, quickly builds rapport and closes sales.
The position has a range of responsibilities and conditions, all aligned with our company values. These include:
a. Sell bicycles and accessories to achieve monthly store sales goals
b. Manage a top performing team
c. Shop organization and product merchandising
d. Shop opening and closing along with other employees
e. Manage special orders, accessory product selection and reordering to stay ahead of stock outs.
f. Service writing
g. Working with the service manager to perform maintenance and repairs in an efficient manner; 48 hr service guarantee on most work.
h. Continuously improving - self-training using online tools and attending certification workshops. Resources are available from Shimano S-TEC, Rock Shox, Giant Retail Academy, Pedego Academy etc.
i. Learn bicycle fitting best practices and develop that offering
j. Community outreach, involvement in events, demo days
