Candidate will oversee a geographically defined territory for which he/she will be paid a commission on sales. THIS IS A COMMISSION ONLY POSITION, APPLICANTS MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH A COMMMISION POSITION.  NOT A SALARY POSITION

Sales Agency in the Firearms, Law Enforcement, and Hunting Industry is seeking highly motivated candidates to represent our portfolio of manufacturers in the following states: California, Louisiana, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Tennessee, Texas.

 Candidate will be responsible for establishing new accounts, sales order generation, sales reporting to agency, account training and merchandising. Candidate will also be responsible for account/dealer events and promotions, buying group shows and industry trade shows. Travel within the territory will be via personal vehicle.


Qualified applicants possess the following qualities:

-Successful sales track record. 

-Prior selling experience within the sporting goods industry, particularly firearms and sport optics. 

-Computer literacy including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint. Or Mac equivalent, Smartphone. 

-Must have reliable transportation. 

-Detail oriented attitude. Creativity. 



Requirements and Responsibilities:

Experience as a hunting guide, shooter, Law Enforcement, Military service.  

Previous sales experience in Sporting Goods Industry.

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong background of Analytical & Consultative Sales 

Must be willing to travel throughout the territory calling on current and prospective customers to manage inventory levels and solicit orders. 

 Regular attendance at trade shows and other company events including some evenings and weekends 

Display and demonstrate products and programs using samples, catalogs, and/or electronic sales media.

Keep management informed by submitting activity and opportunity/sales reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory overviews.

Maintain a strong relationship and regular communication with manufacturers we represent.
