Sales Account Manager
Fast growing Asheville based company is seeking a professional sales person to fill a key position. If you have an "all hands on deck" attitude, enjoy a large amount of responsibility and would like to help drive the company's high growth pattern, this position is for you!
Rightline Gear produces products for the Automotive Aftermarket and the Sporting Goods/Outdoors Industry. The company's customers are national retail dealers such as Academy Sports and Outdoors, Advance Auto Parts, Amazon, Cabela’s, and Walmart, plus automotive aftermarket distributors. Rightline Gear’s customers are in the US and international markets.
The right candidate will play a major role in the sales and marketing efforts of the company in several key market segments. A strong business acumen, superior sales skills, and the ability to strategize are necessities. Taking initiative, leadership skills, and the ability to identify opportunities and anticipate problems before they happen are also essential for success. The exceptional candidate should be able to describe a consultative sales approach with an entrepreneurial mind-set in his/her past positions. A willingness to understand company procedures and successfully work cross-departmentally to serve the company’s customers with excellence is required.
This position is compensated by salary plus commission. This is not a remote position. Qualified applicants should provide a cover letter and resume.
Set sales and marketing strategies for key market segments and individual customers
Play a role in product development for key market segments
Organize company trade show efforts to key market segments
Set pricing, allowances, and terms for each customer
Provide new dealers and distributors with product information, product photos, and vehicle specific data
Update existing dealers and distributors with new product information
Drive the best presentation of Rightline Gear products on customer e-commerce websites
5 years sales success - preferably in the automotive aftermarket or sporting goods/outdoors industry
Knowledge of retail, distributor, and e-commerce (drop ship) business models
Excellent math, writing, organization, and time management skills
Technical aptitude for product construction and function
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
Possess the humbleness to be transparent in areas where personal growth is necessary
