Job Vision & Summary:  

As a Craft Sales Representative you will be responsible for achieving sales, distribution and sales call goals within a designated region. You will be a Craft brand ambassador and promote the brand at every opportunity. A Craft sales rep will be responsible for developing news business, expanding distribution, generating and calling upon new sales leads, working with existing customers to ensure sales and brand opportunities are maximized, closing sales utilizing strong selling skills, tools and tactics, managing orders and providing excellent customer service.

·      Enjoys regular travel, new challenges and can adapt to various environments

·      Able to juggle multiple priorities and work independently

·      Successful track record in achieving sales goals and key objectives

·      Capable of handling a variety of issues (problems and priorities simultaneously), while still able to foster a positive work environment through teamwork and open communication.

·      Highly organized and customer centric

·      Has wholesale sales, retail sales and/or buying experience

·      Comfortable “cold-calling” prospective new accounts

·      Is competitive and has a passion for sport

 

Key Responsibilities:

·      Conduct sales calls as outlined in sales and distribution plan

·      Manage existing customers to maximize growth opportunities and market share

·      Develop new business and open new customers

·      Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers

·      Maintain detailed records of all prospects and customers

·      Promptly respond to sales inquiries

·      Work with internal staff including sales mgmt., marketing, operations and finance to achieve objectives

·      Share relevant market feedback with Craft corporate

·      Provide sales forecasts as requested

·      Attend and support trade shows, industry, consumer and retail events within and outside the designated territory to support sales and marketing initiatives

·      Work with customers on promotions, brand building and marketing opportunities

·      Work with Director of Sales to develop and execute product assortment, pricing, sales program and go to market initiatives and strategies

Education and experience

  • Relatable educational experience or a 4 year college degree

·      Experience in wholesale, retail sales and/or purchasing

·      Experience in maintaining work levels in a fast paced environment with proven results

·      Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives

·      Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of the organization

 

Skills Requirements:

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style

·      Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics

·      Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization

·      Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint

·      Creative problem solver, who is able to dream in large scale, interpret data, and deliver meaningful results that drive productivity and efficiency

·      Possessing initiative and decision-making skills

 

Work Environment:

1.    You will be required to engage in physical activities from time to time:

a.    Lifting and moving material up to 40 pounds each (Example full garment bags)

2.    You will be required to travel up to 80% of the time which includes extended periods of time driving during the day and at night

3.    Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, valid passport, and background check are required

 

Compensation/Benefits:

This role is a full time employee position and includes competitive salary, commission, bonus and complete benefits package. The employee must reside in the designated region.
