GBS Operations Associate
Golden Bike Shop, the Front Range’s foremost dealer of premium mountain bikes and mountain bike gear has an immediate opening for a full-time, year-round, Operations Associate.
The Operations Associate works with the Operations Manager to support the sales and service teams and ensure they can provide efficient, consistent, and high-quality customer experiences to our guests.
Primary responsibilities include:
Shipping and receiving
Inbound customer contact by phone and email
Problem-solving/firefighting in support of the sales and service departments
Prior specialty/outdoor retail experience required
Bike shop experience strongly preferred
Ideal candidate has prior experience with purchasing/inventory control.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google apps equivalents and familiarity with retail POS/inventory management software required
Strong Excel/Sheets skills strongly preferred
Ideal candidate will have prior experience utilizing the back end of Lightspeed POS
Candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must have exceptional customer service skills
Candidate must be able to collaboratively problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment
Ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cycling and cycling technology, particularly with regard to modern, high-end, full-suspension mountain bikes
Prior mechanic experience a plus
Compensation and benefits:
$16-$18 per hour depending on qualifications
