Job Summary

Ranger Ready RepellentsÒ, a new brand launched in 2018 by The PiC20 Group LLC, is searching for its first outdoor sports National Sales Executive as we enter our second season and expand into premium specialty retail stores across the U.S. After a successful launch of our product, sales, branding and marketing initiatives, we’re gearing up to offer independent retail partners in outdoor, fishing, hunting, camping, running, equine and golf the opportunity to sell Ranger Ready as a next-gen repellent.  We’re already disrupting bigger, embedded competitors and, with over 100 partners like Paragon Sports in New York on board, we’re investing in channel growth to be the leading premium repellent brand. 

 

As the Outdoor Sports National Sales Executive, you will be working with our small team in Norwalk, CT to present and sell-in Ranger Ready to premier retail stores at trade shows, via store visits and direct prospecting. You will be focused on building strong, integrated partnerships with our customer base and will regularly be in the field representing Ranger Ready. 

 

Required Skills and Experience

An undergraduate degree is required, as is a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience working with retail focused brands, preferably in the outdoor industry.  You’ve worked with active teams that seek to win by offering superior product with a curated brand experience. As a sales professional, you have a strong ability to build new relationships in order to create sales opportunities. Relocation benefits are available for suitable candidates.

You are determined, and sales minded, knowing that every “no” brings you closer to a “yes”. You know that start-ups aren’t perfect and that blazing a trail for anything is just part of the challenge.  You know how to manage a to-do list without wondering if you’ll ever figure it out.  Hard work, long hours, interacting with consumers and staying calm are all part of the job. Light to medium regional travel both on weekdays and weekends is often required.
