TITLE: International Sales Manager

LOCATION: Dependent on candidate, or Brooklyn, NY

HOURS: Full-time

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales

START DATE: ASAP

OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AN IMPACT:

The International Sales Manager is responsible for leading development of BioLite's key international markets including: the United Kingdom, Latin America, Continental Europe, Middle East, and Asia. This position works collaboratively with existing distributors (and select direct retail accounts) while also establishing new distribution partnerships around the world to help drive overall BioLite sales and market-share. 

The International Sales Manager is also responsible for understanding the global economics that affect the Consumer Electronics and Outdoor Recreation Industries.

This position is a key member of the BioLite Team and reports directly to the Director of Sales. This position also works closely with the following departments: Product Development; Direct Sales (i.e. Ecommerce), Marketing, and Operations.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • =       Manage and develop BioLite sales in key international markets.
  • =       Work with the Director of Sales to craft the strategic direction and budget resources required to support BioLite’s international business and company goals. 
  • =       Research and provide clear actionable requests to the marketing team for asset creation and event support.
  • =       Analyze unique international customer and end-user needs.
  • =       Participate in industry related activities and gather market intelligence from an international perspective.
  • =       Support our distributors in their sales and marketing efforts while proactively searching for market growth and tools to increase sell through.
  • =       Create and conduct presentations to distributors, dealers and their extended teams.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • =       5+ years International Sales Experience in a Business-to-Business role.
  • =       Experience in the Consumer Electronics and/or Outdoor Recreation Industry preferred.
  • =       Tech savvy and eager to implement innovative technology and tools to efficiently manage the business and strategic decision-making.
  • =       Strong analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills with knowledge of various international cultures.
  • =       Has a sense of humor, proactive approach, and work ethic necessary to thrive in a fast-moving, ?team-oriented company.
  • =       Travel will be about 35% of the year with most of it internationally.
  • =       Excited to work collaboratively and brainstorm with a tight-knit, hardworking community of professionals.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • =       Prior experience and relationships with major retailers in EU, UK and other international markets.
  • =       Previous management experience leading teams.
