As the leader in it's segment, Bend Oregon based CushCore is experiencing strong growth and is searching for an experienced and motivated inside sales person. The Inside Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is supporting existing dealers, generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and assisting in the achievement of CushCore Sales goals. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, messenger programs and in person. This person will also handle incoming calls from consumers and other customers and actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.

 Essential Duties:

  • Create and nurture strong dealer relationships over the phone, through email and face to face. Determine customer requirements and expectations and recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Support outside sales reps in their effort to grow their designated territories 
  • Use provided sales tools to analyze territories and develop sales strategies to meet territory goals. Gather feedback about the market and dealer feedback on CushCore and sales trends.
  • Manage dealer sales leads and attain outgoing phone call targets as determined by Sales Manager
  • Work with customers to order needed products and enter new orders into the system 
  • Organize and maintain daily detailed customer contact notes and information in CRM system.
  • Develop follow up and call back schedule with customers
  • Increase sales and order size through offering promotional opportunities, up-selling and cross-selling
  • Educate customers on product terminology and technical information as well as the features and benefits of CushCore Products
  • Maintain up-to-date bicycle product knowledge
  • Attend trade shows and events in a sales and technical capacity
  • Schedule and conduct technical clinics with key dealer accounts
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Manager to create a yearly budget for dealer visits
  • Assist Sales Manager to develop new dealer sales programs
  • Assist in implementing marketing programs including social media postings, events and sponsorships. 
  • Assist in the management of sponsored teams
  • Manage online pricing MAP program and enforcement. 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years prior experience in sales 
  • 2-3 years or more working in the Bike Industry
  • High school diploma or GED required - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is a bonus
  • Candidate should thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and basic social media skills
  • Strong familiarity with mountain biking and possess reasonable cycling technical knowledge.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Available to work a 40 hour work week 
  • Willing to travel up to 10%-20% of the time
