What moves you?
 
The role will be responsible for business development, partner relations, and managing commercial operations to drive new user growth. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and should be comfortable leading a team of 6 to 10. The role reports to the Chief Business Development and Revenue Officer.

What You'll Do                                         

  • Responsible for regional P&L targets and user growth

    • Drive rental user growth and manage regional budget

  • Build & manage the local seasonal operations team

    • Assist designing rental model for seamless user experience

    • Develop user interaction scripts

    • Hire and build the daily rental operations team (estimated about 6 to 7 seasonal employees)

  • Build relations and access

    • Build and manage relations with local ski resorts to support access, marketing programs and user experience

    • Cultivate local athlete ambassadors to promote ROAM products

  • Business Development to drive user growth

    • Partner program enrollment - build partnership and referral base with local and regional sports retail stores, ski clubs, sports medicine surgeons and physical therapists

    • Run product demos at resorts and trade shows

    • North America and Local retailer partnerships to build sales pipeline (for 2019 and 2020 season)

    • Design and develop partner pitch material and value proposition

    • Design and run regional marketing programs

REQUIRED

  • Strong Athletic, Outdoor or Action Sports industry experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Existing relevant network

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Customer service experience

  • Must be energetic, self-motivated, goal-oriented and possess excellent communication skills

  • Self starter, eager to contribute, learn and grow with the organization

  • Must be flexible with changing business dynamics

  • Willing to travel as territory expands to new locations.

Bonus

  • Prior experience SKI equipment sales or medical brace sales

  • Marketing experience with a major brand

  • Masters or MBA
