Folsom Bike in beautiful Northern California is looking for a savvy Buyer to ensure we have the best products for our 2 busy locations.


  • Duties
    - Work with management determining product strategy and mix
     - Look for exciting new products and categories that will appeal to our customer base, or create new    customers
    -  Analyze inventory performance and make changes to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. 
  •   - Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best margins, discounts and terms
    -  Place ongoing fill-in and special orders
    -  Assist with merchandising store for maximum retail efficiency and sales
     - Receive shipments, transfer products between locations and close POs
  • Requirements
     - Computer and technology savvy
    -  Good negotiating skills
    -  Experience with open-to-buy inventory management, GMROI etc.
     - Spreadsheet proficiency (pivot tables, vendor look ups, nested formulas, etc.)
    -  Excellent written and oral communication
  •  -  Cycling enthusiast
     - Detail oriented self starter
     -Organized
     -Good eye for product, accessories, fashion, and trends
